The NECAUX table protector is made of a new Low-Flavor Formula material, which has only a slight smell. Upon receiving the item, you can soak it in a plate of warm water mixed with laundry detergent for 5 minutes, then wash and air-dry it for a day or two. This process will effectively eliminate the smell, allowing you to use the protector normally.

Regarding heat resistance, the table cover is safe for use with containers up to a maximum temperature of 176°F/80°C. For higher temperatures, we recommend adding a silicone protective pad to avoid potential damage to the desktop.

The new CLEAR pad has a slightly sticky surface. If your wooden table is new or recently refinished, we suggest covering the CLEAR pad with a tablecloth or opting for the FROSTED version instead. This is because the paint on a new table may not be completely dry and could adhere to the pad. Glass, metal, and marble tabletops will not be affected.

To choose the right size model, use a measuring tape to accurately determine the width and length of your tabletop, then select the corresponding size from our listings. If the perfect size is unavailable or out of stock, you can choose a larger option and easily cut it to fit using a sharp scissors or knife. If there is no suitable standard size and shape, we can also provide customized services, though these will be more expensive.

To flatten the table protector, you can use a hair dryer to heat it, then lay it flat again. Alternatively, place heavy items on it in the reverse-roll direction for 1-2 days, or soak it in hot water for a few minutes, then lay it flat. Double-sided tape dots can also be used to adhere the protector to the table, but first ensure the adhesive will not damage the table surface.
